I am currently located in the Victor Valley area of the Mojave Desert in Southern California. I can easily work within a radius of several hundred miles, or a 5 to 6 hour drive, whichever comes first. With a little bit of planning ahead, I can work pretty much anywhere on this planet that we are allowed to go. I'm not a big fan of trying to get into places where there is a high probability of being subjected to kidnapping, jailed without cause or due process, or other human atrocities. If you can afford to take me with you, I'd be very much in love with the idea of shooting a wedding in Antarctica ;-)

Blah blah stuff about me for anyone interested...

I've been taking photos for almost as long as I can remember. My first camera was one of those black and white 110 film brownies. I took pictures of everything; dirt, tree bark, bugs, my guinea pig, you get the idea. The little red window on the back of the camera was cool, it allowed me to see what exposure I was on. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, no worries.

I still take pictures of everything; dirt, tree bark, bugs, my dogs (guinea pig died many years ago), people making funny faces. I'm a little older now and more mobile so I have a much more diverse collection of photos and skills. If I'm at a dog show, I take pictures of dogs. If I'm at a sports event, I take pictures. If I'm at a party, I take pictures. If I'm camping or traveling, I take pictures. You get the idea.

I've always tried to get something more than just snapshots, but now I'm really serious about it. My interests continue to be diverse, but I've been focusing on just becoming a real good photographer. I don't share all photos I take with the world. Each one of my photos that can be seen on this site, unless otherwise noted, is representative of my best work at the time it was produced. Each one has been carefully selected, and edited to the very best of my abilities at the time of processing. I'm not perfect, and never will be; perfection doesn't exist in my world. But you can be assured that I will always be striving for it.

BTW - yes, that is me in the photo above. I hate pictures of me with a camera :-)
